Hafler Power Amplifier Rebuilds

We can build the same high-performance solid-state circuits found in our own Insight+ amplifiers into Hafler chassis that you may already own. These are not simple modifications to the existing amplifiers but rather are complete rebuilds including brand new Exicon series output power MOSFETs. We reuse only the expensive metalwork, the power transformer, and other power supply parts. Apart from differences in maximum output power, these rebuilt amplifiers are identical in quality to the Insight+ amplifiers we build in our own chassis.

Hafler 200 Rebuild

Hafler DH-200, DH-220 and XL-280 Rebuild: Insight+ 250

These three Hafler chassis shells are essentially identical so we needed only to tool one board layout for our solid-state Insight+ circuit to fit perfectly in any of the three. This economy of scale has helped us keep our amplifiers built in these chassis advantageously priced. All will make over 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms and more into low impedance loads. If you have been searching for the absolute sound but at less than an absolute price, the Insight+ amplifier built into your Hafler DH-200, DH-220, or XL-280 chassis is for you.

Hafler DH-500 Rebuild: Insight+ 500

We gut the original electronics from your DH-500 and build in the fastest, most transparent, and highest definition solid-state amplifier you have ever heard. It drives electrostatics with a high frequency transparency and bass definition you have never before experienced. It powers sub-woofers with superb control, extension, definition, and impact. It even gets great dynamics from low impedance planar loudspeakers with astonishing midrange and high frequency air and imaging.

Hafler XL-600 Rebuild: Insight+ 600

We gut the original electronics from your XL-600 and build in the fastest, most transparent, and highest definition solid-state amplifier you have ever heard.
